By default when you add a comment in scrivener for the iPad it’s yellow. I have a hard time reading off of yellow backgrounds so I tend to change the colour when I’m using the Mac version. Is it possible to change the colour of comments on the iPad version?
As far as I know, you can’t. It bugs me too.
That’s disappointing to hear… I thought I must have been over looking something. Hopefully they’ll add it it as a feature in the future.
It is odd that the iPad version can display different coloured notes (created with the Mac/Windows version) but, not creat them.
There was always meant to be a way of changing comment colours, but when deadlines started to loom it got cut and then forgotten. So that is why there is a somewhat illogical gap between being able to see something and being unable to change it.
Oh! I didn’t realise the iPad version of Scrivener had features cut to be released on time.
Are the cut features planned to be added eventually? Or were they scraped all together?
Oh, they are somewhat distant memories now, but there was once a point in time when it was years late, and all of the ongoing uproar that entails. The iOS version’s delays, or rather the outrage surrouding them, are why we stopped talking so openly about future development plans in general.
Are the cut features planned to be added eventually? Or were they scraped all together?
So in that vein…
I don’t get why people get so angry over delays. Disappointed I can understand, but angry seems over the top. It’s not the fists time I’ve heard of companies getting angry complaints about something being delayed either.
Which means you probably wouldn’t be able to tell me even if you we’re lol
thank you for sharing though. It always interesting to get a glimpse inside a company.
You should look up the vaporware court case broguth against Oracle by its users/shareholders.
