how to add checkbox in scrivener

i tried searching for how to create checkbox like microsoft word. it seemed like scrivener can’t do that job. how could i create the checkbox and tick in some boxes.

Since Scrivener is an outliner, it is often easiest to use rows or cards as your todo items, and some form of meta-data to mark things as done. In fact, the default “Status” meta-data list includes a couple of items intended for just this purpose.
