Hello,
Now that iCloud Drive is happily humming along, I want to save to it as my default location. Is there a way to change the default location for new Scrivener files?
Thanks,
Patrick

There is no default location, it just, like all software on your Mac should, remembers the last location you used for a particular context. When you create a project, that is a context, once you choose a location it will continue offering that as the “default” until you choose another.
Great! Now here’s where I’m a bit thick. I can’t figure out how to select a folder within iCloud when saving a new document. In Finder, I created a “Scrivener” folder, but can’t see it to select it. I’m using Yosemite.
Thanks,
Patrick
Och! i found it. It’s the expansion arrow nest to the file name rather than where I was looking, the expansion arrow nest to the file location. All sorted now. Thanks!
