How to Compile Headings for MS Word?

Can somebody please tell me what I have to do to prepare a Compile for Microsoft Word? What I specifically want to know is if there is a way for the compile to automatically set the Headings into MS Word Heading 1, Heading 2, and Heading 3 styles?

There is no stylesheet support, and probably won’t be for some time (if ever; it’s one of those pie in the sky things) as this is a rather involved and complicated thing to design. The best you can do right now is use Scrivener’s formatting features to produce consistent and unique formatting for each header level (and body text), and then use Word’s auto-formatting features to search and apply stylesheets to the document based on formatting. Some people even like to use very obvious placeholder settings for this, like bright dark green text for block quotes, so they can easily all be located and converted to a style in the final document preparation.

Thanks Amber.

Check over in the Tips board, somebody posted a nice how-to on this very thing.
