How to compile w/o images

I am working on a documentary using the BLANK template. I have images in line with text. Is there some way of excluding the image from the compilation, or just placing a tiny thumb print?
I want to have a better sense of the flow in the potential voice-over.

Compiling as plain-text is probably the simplest way to do that, at least without having planned ahead for the option of doing so.

Otherwise, consider using image placeholders in the future. Since an image placeholder is just a text marker that refers to an image by name, you can set up a compile Replacement that looks for text matching those markers and delete them, thus removing the images dynamically when you compile.
