Is there a way to not include the Title Page in the word count in Statistics?
Yes. Please see the novel template for an example of how to do it. Basically it uses a special label for the title page, and in the “Statistics” pane of the Compile sheet it sets items with that label not to be counted. The compile settings are used for generating project statistics, so set it up there. You can set up your compile settings and save them without compiling by holding the Option key down - the “Compile” button will turn into a “Save” button.

Oh, sorry! These are all new to 2.0, yes. No, there’s no way of excluding the title page from 1.54 - this is one of the many improvements in 2.0.
