How to format tables?

Hi Folks, I’m new to Scrivener. I’m trying to figure out how to format scrivener in such a way that the table retains its “continuity.” Meaning that it doesn’t get split up when the text reaches the end of the character count for a given line.

I tried changing the orientation to landscape mode (for letter-size paper) but that seemed to have no impact.

Is there a way to change the allowed character count for a line in a table?

Many thanks for any help you can provide.

I’m not sure what you mean by the allowed character count, I wasn’t aware of a limitation in the cell size of a table. Maybe I’m not trying hard enough, I didn’t insert an entire novel into a table cell, but I did put about 4,000 words into a single cell and didn’t run into any difficulty with that.
