I’m new to Scrivener and hope that this question isn’t so basic as to annoy. I’ve been through the tutorial and the manual and can’t figure it out, however. How do I get section titles to be included as section headings in a compile? At the moment, I’m just adding section titles manually and that may be the best solution in the end. My experience with Scrivener so for suggests that there’s probably an easy way to create section headings from the section titles.
Hi,
Welcome aboard. If I understand you correctly, all you need to do is go to the “Formatting” pane of the Compile sheet and tick “Title” for the document types for which you want titles included (by document types, I just mean folders, text documents, or text documents that store other documents):
Hope that helps.
All the best,
Keith
That did it. Thanks!
