How to keep cursor centered in screen with space below

When typing the cursor is always at the bottom of the screen representing the bottom of the document, with no lines below it. How can you shift the location of the cursor so it is in the middle of the screen and easier to see and type?

Hi,

Just enable Typewriter Scrolling in the Text menu (this is enabled by default in full screen mode, but you need to turn it on in the main editor).
