i am trying to remove certain fonts that i added to my favorites list, to no avail.
the minus symbol is greyed out and selecting the font from the list and hitting delete does nothing.
can anyone help with this??

Yes, you just need to drag the font out of the palette window entirely—same way you would remove an icon from the Dock—it disappears in a puff of smoke. You can delete favourite collections in this same fashion, but the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons are for managing collections, not individual fonts.
