How to show folder title in the text

Hi,

I was wondering whether there is an option to show the title of the folder within the text and not only at the top (under the toolbar).

For example, if I have the following structure

Chapter 1 (Folder)
|
|
Sub-topic 1 (Folder)
|
(text)
|
|
Sub-topic 2 (Folder)
|
(text)

…when I click on Chapter 1 and am in the view mode, I’d like to see:

Subtopic 1
(text)
Subtopic 2
(text)

I know I can add the title manually in the text but would like to know if there is a relevant option.

Thanks

John

I’m assuming that you know about Scrivenings; if not, just ask. Then select Format > Options > Show Titles in Scrivenings. (That will give you the titles of all the folders and files which you’ve chosen, within the text; depending on how you’ve arranged your text, you may also have to go back to the Scrivenings and delete the titles you don’t want - although, as I’ve just discovered, that will also delete the same titles in the Binder, so that the files become untitled.)

Hi Hugh,

thanks for the tip. That option did the job.

BTW, that’s what I just did…I asked.

Thanks

John
