How to Style Message and Footnote Hyper- links

Does anyone know where I can edit the Message and Footnote Hyper- links styles. Not the message content, but the actual link formatting?

You can control the appearance of these to a degree, mostly within In the Appearance: Textual Marks preference pane:

  • Under the “Options” tab you can set links to be underlined.
  • Over in the Colors tab you can change that under Links.
  • You can also change the background colour used for Inspector Footnotes there (this will change their appearance in the inspector sidebar as well).

Then for Comments themselves, you of course have control over the colour of the comment by right-clicking on them. Again that changes both the sidebar and the appearance of the highlight in the editor.
