Is it possible for me to see all comments, from all files, listed together in the inspector? I seem to only be able to bring up comments for specific files when I have highlighted those files in the binder.
It seems I saw this capability in a video for the Mac product. Is it one more example of how Windows users are 2nd class Scrivener users?
You know, I think it’s not like that… It’s more like if you have two kids and the first one is already attending school while the other one is still learning to walk. I’me pretty sure you wouldn’t be calling your youngest 2nd class child, would you?
Now, regarding your question, AFAIK it’s not possible. As a workaround, you can use the Find by formatting (Ctrl-F3) command on the meantime.
As r6d2 says, this is a feature that will be coming to the Windows version. There’s a several-year gap in the development between Mac and Windows, so it’s natural that the Mac has some features and refinements that Windows hasn’t yet. Fortunately, second children often learn to walk and run quickly to keep up with their elder sibling.
File > Export > Comments and Annotations… will produce a single file of all the comments and annotations in the Draft or the binder selection, which you may find helpful. You can include the document titles for context.
