I am ultimately very confused about this program. It’s all a bit daunting. Anyway, my biggest issue is with compiling. I cannot for the life of me seem to figure out how to take out the header (my name, story name) and chapter numbers at the top of each page. There isn’t anything on the first page, but starting on page two has all this at the top. My story is formatted as diary entries, and I don’t want anything at the top of the page.
For example, I want each page to be formatted like this:
"February 16th, 2016
Dear diary,
blah blah blah."
I don’t want my name, the title, or anything else at the top. I am so frustrated and I feel really stupid. This is keeping me from wanting to continue because I can’t seem to get it to look the way I want it to. I searched all over the web and found nothing of use to my problem.
Can anyone help me?
