Hello,

What version of Scrivener are you running, and could you give us as much information as possible, the steps you take when trying to compile as this will help us try to narrow down the problem.

Thanks.

I just click on the NON-FICTION formating and PDF out.

I think I found the problem.

I had some PDF type pictures in the text, and the compile died when about 20% done.

I moved them to the trash.

Then it died when about 60@ done.

So I moved all the REFERENCE material to the TRASH.

Then it died when about 80% done.

I delete all the trash items, and it now works.

Apparently the COMPILE is looking at the referene and the trash folders. For some reason.
Thanks for the quick reply.

You should be able to only select those things in your draft when you bring up a compile dialogue box. Also, make sure anything you don’t want compiled is not checked to include in the inspector.
