First of,f, apologies if this is a really stupid question, but I’m new to Scrivener and still trying to figure out a lot of the settings and my own preferences.
I’ve been trying to adjust the margins in the text editor because the default is far too wide for me. I’ve found some settings that work for me, but I can’t seem to find a way to set these as “Default” for all future documents. Each time I open a new one, it’s back to the original settings.
I’ve found the text editor settings in Tools- Options- Editor, and can set the left margin perfectly, but I can’t get enough of a view of the right hand margin from the preview window to set it to the correct value. It stops at about 6" which is too narrow, otherwise it jumps to the very edge of the page.
