I had a PC, and after NANOWRIMO, bought PC version of Scrivener, plus, in faith, the Mac 2 version. Now, a Mac was given me, and of course, it is older…an iMac power PC G4. It needs the older version, 1.54 of Scriv. After already buying two Scriv. licenses, do I still need to pay a fee to unlock the 1.54 Mac version as well? thanks for the help here. inkierose
What version of OS X is the Power PC running? Scrivener 2.5 will run on everything back to OS X 10.4. You’ll need to download the “legacy” build – see the box on the right side of our download page – but your existing 2.x license key will work.
We are no longer issuing new Scrivener 1.x licenses in any event.

Katherine, thank you VERY MUCH for the help. I did download the Legacy build, and it all appears to be working well now. This means a lot to me. I can certainly see some of the differences, right off, between PC and Mac versions. GLAD to have 2.5 Legacy. Thanks again. inkierose
