I'd like to suggest: More comprehensive progress tracking

A partly non-relataed question:

Is there any way to dock the target window anywhere on the screen? As of now, the only way I’ve found to have it visible (and yes, I am the type of writer who needs some sort of carrot dangling in front of me…) is to put it on top of some other part of the screen, thus always obscuring something…

If not, is there a chance in a future version it could be placed in an expandable/collapsible/removable section in the inspector window, rather than as its own window?
If doable, I think it would make sense to everyone — not taking up place for whoever doesn’t like it, and still not obscuring things for us who do.

Thanks,

That’s an interesting idea that I thought about as well, and even came up with a solution that worked until I resized my Scrivener window: I made the inspector the same width as the targets window when I was running Scrivener as large as I could get it without going full screen and I just sat the targets window in the document notes portion of the inspector (Which, admittedly, I don’t use for much of anything…) It worked until I wanted to be able to see a chat window at the same time on the 13" screen built into my MacBook Pro…

I second this idea…

Sorry, no plans for this at the moment, but I’ll certainly consider it for 3.0. It wouldn’t really work in the inspector anyway, as the inspector inspects the current document.

Thanks and all the best,
Keith

No worries.

Thanks for all the hard work!
