Until recently I’d been using Copywrite for writing drafts, note-taking, collecting research material, etc., but I’ve changed to Scrivener because it offers so much more.
For example, the corkboard is a fantastic feature - great for structuring and restructuring work. Being able to see the whole structure at-a-glance is invaluable. Another thing I love is how easy it is to import web pages, which is really useful for me because I do a lot of web-based writing and research. The colour coding is great too. I’ve only just scratched the surface, I’m sure. Money well spent.
I’m also impressed by the discussions here, which I’ve browsed a little, and how writers are sharing ideas about their ways of working.
