image scale starts at far right

When I go to zoom in on an image I haven’t looked at before in Scrivener using the scale tool (double click on the image) I find that the scale slider will be at the far right but the level of zoom will be closer to the middle in reality. If I then try to click to the middle of the scale slider the image jumps to a large size and then slides itself down to the appropriate scale for wherever I’ve clicked or tried to drag the slider to. Only happens on new images and not a serious issue, just a case of needing that tiny bit of extra polish that I know this product is going to have when it is officially launched.
