Image size reduced when imported

I tried to import an image today and found that it kept making the image very tiny. Here’s a screenshot that shows the original image, and the image as it imported: http://grab.by/7b5L

I can’t figure out if there’s any way to zoom in to the image to make it full size. It does this both when I drag-and-drop the file into Scrivener, and when I use File > Import.

Is there a setting somewhere that I’ve missed? Or some other way I should be loading this?

If you double-click the picture you’ll get a set of controls where you can adjust the size

Perfect! Thanks. I had tried a right-click/“two-finger tap”, but double-clicking hadn’t occurred to me.

Yes, images are odd things - the size they appear in the text view depends on their resolution and DPI, so they can seem fine in an image editor and still appear tiny when imported into the text (it’s the same in TextEdit and I would imagine in Pages too). Thanks to Eddy to pointing out the resizing panel, though - that is all you need to sort images like this out.
All the best,
Keith
