Images corpped?

How could one show the images (without editing them) not being cropped on their right sides? Or show them horizontally fitted (by default)?

Can one add a horizontally scroll bar?

I’m not sure this is what you’re asking (in the editor?) but there’s an explanation on viewing images in the manual. Start at page 140, chapter 14, subsection 14.3 - 14.3.1:

…There are three additional tools available: the two circular arrow buttons will rotate the image 90 degrees clockwise or counter-clockwise, and the third button will reset the zoom of the image to fit your editor width. When this button has been clicked, Scrivener will attempt to keep the image at the editor’s width, even if it changes, until you use the slider or its buttons… … to,-71,613

Thank you very much!

When I mark / select an image there does not appear such an image view. May be “image document” means something else.

I can evoke this window, but nothing more I can find:

Many thanks again

You’re welcome. I don’t have the Windows version to test but I think you’ll find the answer by further reading in the manual starting at page 165, chapter 15, subsection 15.5 - 15.5.2. It explains Inline Images.

Good luck.

Many thanks, yes, I couldn’t find a way there either.

I cannot even access that resize handle when an image overlapps the right margin.

I am wondering why there are not any images in the manual, that seems so senseless.

Alright, I will leave it like it is.

Many thanks again
