I happened to import a pdf document with some comments and realized not all comments are visible in Scrivener (Mac version)
I could see some annotation like highlight and strikethrough but not the ones like “insert text at cursor”.
I am referring to Adobe Acrobat X and how the annotation are named in here.
Any chance these annotations could make their way to Scrivener as well?
I’m afraid we rely on the OS X PDFKit for this, so if the annotations are not viewable in Preview.app, they won’t be viewable in Scrivener. I filed an enhancement request for exactly this improvement to Apple some time ago, though…
Can we, layman users, file the request too? Might be of any help?
