Imported formatting

I have imported text from various applications.
Some are polite and wipe their shoes and fit in nicely with Scrivener.
Others maintain their formatting and despite “work” do not easily give up their format and shape.

How do I remove this unwanted formatting ?

Please humiliate me by pointing out what is so obvious but has passed me by.

Documents|Convert|Formatting to Default Text Style

(Not undoable, but presumably you have the original document to reimport in case you lose more formatting than you wanted to.)

The above mentioned command can be done on a range of selected Binder items, too. So you can import 25, and then fix all 25 at once, rather than one by one.

I didn’t know that either, and I was wondering why the menu was called “Documents” rather than “Document”.
