importing web links into Scrivener

Hi all,

I just noticed that if I cut and paste a column of web urls from a text file into scrivener the links arent active (i.e. you cant click on them).

Dragging links from a browser works fine as expected. Am I doing something wrong with the import process?

The automatic link detection feature can be a little finicky. We are using the operating system for this, and it seems to work better with things that have been typed in, rather than pasted in. For example, if you put your cursor after one of the URLs and tap space, you should see it highlighted as a link (assuming you have that appropriate option enabled in the Corrections preferences pane, to detect web addresses). Where it is more stable is if the incoming document is rich text of some sort and actually has links embedded in the document. It’s just the automatic ones that are touchy.
