In corkboard mode, how do I see all of the text files in subfolders when selecting the top folder that contains the subfolders

I am in the process of setting up a new document and trying to determine the folder structure. I would like to be able to see all of the nested text files in corkboard mode when selecting the topmost folder. What I am getting however is just the subfolders, not their contents. When I select the top folder and go into Outline mode I DO see all of the nested text files. Is there a way to somehow turn off the visibility of the subfolders in corkboard mode so all i see are the bottom level text files? Thanks!

I think you may be looking for the ability to stack corkboards, so only their content is seen? Have a look at §8.2.8, Stacked Corkboards in the user manual PDF, for an explanation of the feature.

A tip, you can usually easily get this effect by selecting Draft, and then using the Edit ▸ Select ▸ Select Subgroups menu command. If you anticipate doing this often, you could add a custom shortcut to it.
