In screenwriting how do I add a paragraph to dialogue?

I’m writing a monologue, and it requires multiple paragraphs. I can’t figure out how to format this so that it is broken up with spaces in between. Is there any way to do that? Every time I hit enter or command-enter it brings up the Script style option box.

In screenwriting, it’s customary to break up a monologue with either parentheticals or with Scene Description (Action). Most writers create paragraphs in a monologue by adding parentheticals for pauses (beat) or containing direction (thinks for a moment).

If you use Action elements instead, you use up more lines, because you have to add the character’s name after the Action line in order to get back to the dialogue.
