Inconsistency in Effect of CTL-N in "Research" Section

Don’t know if this is a “bug” per se…

Given …

effect 1: If I highlight “Research” I see the corkboard. If I press CTL-N, I get a blank page to enter text.

AND

effect 2: If, when the corkboard is visible, I click on the corkboard, or click on OLD note, and press CTL-N, I get another posty-note to enter text.

THEN

I think any CTL-N when “Research” is highlighted will give me a blank page (it does)

AND

any CTL-N when the I click on the corkboard should give me a new posty-note. IT DOESN’T. The first one is a posty note, and if I click CTL-N IMMEDIATELY after that (without pressing “Enter”), the cork board disappears and I get a blank page.

It has to do with the corkboard generally, unlinked to what section of the binder you’re viewing, and yeah, it’s a known bug. :wink:

ok, great…good to know…

I looked around, and there’s no easy way to find the link you shared. (In fact, I still can’t find where to find it).

It could be really helpful to put that link on the description of the forum, the one on the board index. I searched through the forum as best I could for previous posts on this issue, and it took a lot of time without great results. I’d be happy to read through the list of “known bugs” before posting.
