I have noticed that updating the synopsis text on a card in the Meta window automatically updates the synopsis text on that card in the Cork Board, but not the other way around – at least, not as I’ve got things set up. Is there some way to ensure that updates to synopsis text on a card in Corkboard, automatically updates the synopsis text on that card in the Meta window?

It does update it - both show exactly the same information. But when you type text on the corkboard, it isn’t “entered” until you end editing. That is, the changes won’t be reflected in the inspector until you hit return to commit the edit in the corkboard. It’s the same as if you have two Finder windows open showing the same folder - if you edit the title of a file in one window, it won’t be reflected in the other while you are editing it, but only when you hit return to commit the edit. The corkboard is a “control” in the same way.
