I hardy ever fill out the synopsis. When I’m trying to structure my story on the corkboard it’s just a lot of wasted space on the index card - meanwhile my title, which is where I put the scene idea, gets cut off.
It would be great to have a “title only” option on the corkboard, which centers the title on the full index card; not just the first line.
I realize it’s a different visual, so it may not help for your method, but a workaround might be to use the Outliner mode and display just the title, giving it the full width of the editor. You can tint the rows with the label color if you need that, and you can always choose to show the synopsis too if you do want to jot some notes there, or keep the inspector open for document notes, etc.
Thanks for the suggestion. I wouldn’t wind up using that because what I’m really after is the typical index card method of moving stuff around. All I really want is the title nice and centered like I used to do on paper.
