Newbie here. Is there any way to adjust the height of the index cards in corkboard view? (I know, my synopses tend to waffle…)
cheers, Mike

Not at the moment, but in 2.0 you can choose a different ratio and so have taller index cards if you wish.
Best,
Keith
OK, thanks Keith. I’m just getting to grips with Scrivener - on a weeny 12" iBook screen. I prefer 3 cards across to 2, but it’s a bit cramped - though hiding the inspector column helps.
Looking forward to 2.0!
Another thing that will help, on small screens, is that you’ll be able to specify that cards do not shrink to the size of the window. So if you don’t mind scrolling around on the trackpad (which fortunately Apple has made easy), you can have corkboards that are larger than your viewing portal.
Well now NaNo’s over, I’ve finally got round to upgrading to 2.0. I’ve had a look through preferences, but can’t find where I can set these options (i.e. aspect ratio of corkboard cards and no-resize option). Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Cheers, Mike
In corkboard mode, clicking the icon on the right in the footer will bring up the options for adjusting the aspect ratio, etc.
If you have any questions on these options, they are documented in §12.1.4 (pg. 90) of the PDF.
That’s great - thanks!
