Hi there. I just found inline annotations. Until today, I didn’t know Scrivener had that. I know I can highlight them and change the font, but is there any way to set the font for all annotations?
Annotations are more like a way of marking text a certain way, like for example highlighting or marking it in overstruck. It’s a special kind of marking that can be used when you compile to strip the text out, but that’s all it is, and that’s part of what makes it a tool with interesting implications—like removing text without actually deleting it. You can select even across section headings, block quotes, images, etc. without disturbing the underlying text’s formatting. It’s also useful for many other things as well, but that’s why it doesn’t change the font or do anything radical to the text other than draw it differently in the editor.
