An image that I’ve pasted into a file in Draft is occupying twice its actual area, leaving a large gap above it which is not in the original image. Why has this happened and what can I do about it, please?
Most likely, the line-height multiple is taking off of the image height rather than the text height, thus increasing your blank space between it and the text above. Select the image (or the complete line of text in which it sits) and change the spacing to 1.0 for that line (or play with it to achieve whatever spacing you’re really after). This will work best if your image sits alone, since otherwise the spacing will change for the other text in that paragraph.
Yep, spot on! Worked a treat.
Thanks,
Bob
