Insert line after table (?)

Is there a way to insert a new line AFTER a table?
The only way I have gotten this to work is Cut the table, insert a few blank lines, and then paste the table where the 2nd inserted line is (with another line below).
There is no insert command I can find that inserts after the table, only within the table. Even when I move the cursor to what appears to be outside the table, any text or return places text in the last cell.

I think the method you described is the easiest way of doing it. You could also hit Cmd-N to create a new chunk of text in Scrivener, make an empty line it it and then use the Merge command (Shift-Cmd-M). I don’t think that’s any easier than cut and paste though.
