inserting table and then formatting table cells

I’m experimenting with inserting tables into Document Notes (as a substitute for creating custom metatags into documents).

As far as I can see custom metatags are only available in the Mac version so I’m resorting to adding pseudo tags into a table matrix in each document.

I insert the table with empty cells into Document Notes panel but I can’t apply a style to all these empty table cells.

I have to wait until I populate the table cells and then apply formatting by right click on the table and then apply “select all”.

If I select “table properties” I can’t change any of the table properties. The fields are fixed and grayed out.
