inspector word count

Hi,
I don’t see a way to include word count in the inspector.

Also, I think there’s a bug there as when you add meta-data, you should be able to click on ‘General’ switch to meta-data. Meta-data choice doesn’t come up.

Hi,

I’m not quite sure what you mean - the word count appears in the footer bar beneath the main text, not in the inspector.

Also, I don’t understand the bug you are seeing - custom meta-data can be seen in the meta-data pane of the Inspector.

Also, I note that your profile says you are on Windows - did you mean to post this in the Mac section?

All the best,
Keith

Thanks. In the tutorial video, he clicks on >General and it opens to a meta data display. It’s actually at the bottom of the inspector.

Thanks,
Annette

Hi Annette,

A-ha, I see what you mean. The tutorial was produced on an older version of Scrivener 2.x (we need to update the video tutorial and mean to do so in the future). Custom Meta-Data was moved into its own pane in the Inspector so that it could have more room - it didn’t have much space in the older version.

All the best,
Keith
