Is it possible to override formatting selectively during compile?

I have a project in which I have several places where I’ve indented a quotation. The indentation is on both right and left sides. When I compile to RTF or PDF, the indentation is ignored and the quote appears as a normal paragraph. If I check the “Override text and notes formatting” box, the quote is indented correctly, but I lose all of the formatting settings I have for various folder and file levels. I’d like to have my formatting for folder and file levels stay in place, but have the indented quote still be indented the way it appears in Scrivener. Is that possible?

Thanks in advance for any guidance!

You can select your indented passages and use the “preserve formatting” feature. Format->Formatting->Preserver Format is the menu for that function.

Thank you! That’s exactly what I needed.
