I was wondering if there is a plan of including the “Separate Scrivenings with single line breaks” in the Windows Version. I am testing RC6 now, but I cannot find this option (or a similar one). Please let me know if there is a way to achieve this in the Windows version as well, as the scrivenings are now separated by big blocks of white text.

You can choose from three different Scrivenings separators in the beta.
I’m not on my Scrivener PC right now, so I can’t tell you exactly where in Options the setting is located, but it’s there. Be sure to check under Textual Marks, as it might be hidden there.

Thank you for your answers. I already tried those options, and, indeed, it changes the separator, but the big block of white space before and after the chosen separator stays the same.
But I think I found the problem. There is a bug with the Editor Margin (Left/Right) setting. It seems to also add the same value on top and double the value on the bottom. It should have added the margins only on left/right as it says in the label.
I normally have Editor Margins set to 20 points and Scrivenings looks great.
When I change Editor Margins to 80 points like you, then I see the same extra vertical spacing in Scrivenings as you do.
I can’t think of a functional reason for vertical spacing to be added by a Left/Right setting, so I agree with you, this appears to be a bug.
