Is there a short cut to use [small caps]

I have to put a handful of my text into small caps. On MS Office, I can just put ctrl+shift+k. Is there an equivalent shortcut combo I can use to put highlighted text into small caps?

There’s not by default, but you can assign keyboard shortcuts to any menu item via the System Preferences:
