Is there a way to adjust "paper position" in normal mode?

I really like keeping my cursor centered vertically when writing in Composition mode; it’s the easiest position on the screen for my eyes, and it bothers me that once I’ve written at least a full-screen’s-worth in non-Composition mode, the cursor and all my new text is stuck way at the bottom of the screen.

It’s, in fact, the only thing that bothers me about working with Scrivener. And perhaps I’ve just missed the proper setting…

Is there a way to fix this?

I think you need typewriter scrolling: Format > Options > Typewriter scrolling, or Ctrl-Cmd-T.

Boom! That’s what I was looking for exactly. Thank you.

I’ve been trying to select typewriter mode, however the option is greyed out. Ctrl-T has no effect

It’s only available in non-page view mode. If you are in page view mode, it will be greyed out, because typewriter scrolling isn’t compatible with multiple pages, only with a single long scrolling view.

Thanks
