Is there a way to temporarily suppress footnotes?

I have a lot of footnotes in my manuscript. I’d like to compile a copy without them, but I’m hesitant to delete them all, and then add them all back.

Do you have a recommendation on the best way to handle this situation?

As a rule, no matter what it is (footnotes, comments, annotations, or pretty much anything, really) that you don’t want in the final output, you never have to delete it out of your project to achieve a compile without.
There might be exceptions, but I just can’t currently think of anything for which you’d be forced to “damage” your project.
When it is not in the compiler’s main options (like the above screenshot), then it is through the compile format.
