Issues with Justification

Hi, I wrote my ebook in Vellum and I am cutting nd pasting into Scrivener for the paperback version.

I have “" to separate sections. When cut and pasted, they left justify. I then highlight each one and select the center justification. It appears to work within the documents. But when I run a compile pdf, the "” are back to left justified.

What can I do to get it to stay center justified when I compile?

Select the correctly aligned separator and choose Format > Formatting > Preserve Formatting.

Try one first to see if it compiles as you want.
