Italics not showing when I compile

Hi, this is the first time I’ve tried to compile from Scrivener, and the first time I’ve posted here.

I’m using 3.1.6.0 on Windows 10.

I have my documents set to No Style in Scrivener.

When I compile (I have tried Default and Manuscript (Times) ) any italicised text is changed to normal text (not underlined). I’ve seen various fixes for this, but am struggling to find a way of resolving this.

Usually, this happens when Compile Styles override Editor Styles or default formatting.

Alternatively, a momospaced font might not include italics, so they will never Compile to italic text.
