In version 1.7.3.0, my endnotes do not compile properly into an rtf file. In some notes, when I cite a title in italics, everything after that title also appears in italics, even though I had changed back to regular text in the inline footnote. This does not always happen; as far as I can tell, it only seems to happen when the note begins with text in italics. This did not happen with previous versions of Scrivener and means I have to fix all those notes manually.
Thanks, we’re aware of the bug and working to fix it. You can work around it for now by adding an additional unformatted space at the beginning of the inline footnote. Extra spaces are stripped during compile, and leading with an unformatted character will prevent the italics from spreading to the rest of the footnote.
