Yes, it’s Microsoft Office 365 ProPlus (Subscription Product). Version 1708.
I’ll try removing the Google/Drive plugins.
There is a conflict between G-drive plugin and Office apps when I open them on another identical system (without Scrivener Beta).

I uninstalled office a week ago. Chrome is still broken and now matter what I try, it will not open. It just flashes up and disappears.

Your problems probably originate from iLok or Sophos. If it was I, I would have concentrated my efforts toward those two.

I uninstalled Sophos. Chrome still broken (which means Office will not work either) but it works in safe mode.
I still have iLok but I’ll try that too. I have neither the Beta nor Version 1 of Scrivener installed.

Ok Krastev. That’s annoying. I uninstalled iLok and Chrome works again, as does FadeIn and probably Office 365… Let’s see if it holds this time…

Uninstalled iLok, reinstalled Scrivener Beta. Open Beta, Open Crome, restart system. Chrome is broken again.

I ran the x64 Dependency Walker.on the Scrivener.exe file. I got a lot of data I don’t know how to interpret.
Did I run the app on the correct file?

I decided that, since no one else has reported problems like this, it must be due to some fundamental conflict in my system. So, I backed everything up and reinstalled Win 10. I have only installed a few other vital apps, including Scrivener 1 and Beta 2.9.2 No problems to report so far. I will have to install Avid software again soon and we’ll see what occurs after that.

Avid apps, iLok, or Libreoffice.
Reinstalled Office 365 Pro (gulp). No issues so far.
