just wondering about this . . .

i found an old post which touches on this, but it seems to be with one of the older beta versions. when i use learn spelling, it remembers the word just fine but not conjugations or words formed of that work. for instance if i make up a word “mizzle” which is a noun then select learn spelling, it’ll remember only that word. if i add an ‘s’ or ’ apostrophe + d’ scrivener doesn’t make the leap. same with verbs if “mizzle” were a verb, then scrivener doesn’t form past, or present tenses e.g., mizzled, mizzles, mizzler, etc. not a major issue, but just thought there may be room down the line to expand scrivener’s dictionary function.

I hope that it does too, but I don’t know it is a high priority for the developer team. IIRC, the spellchecker/dictionary isn’t something that Scrivener developers did themselves. And it behaves like spellcheckers do in just about every other application I’ve ever used. It annoys me to no end to have to put in both a name and the possessive, but ah well.
