I make frequent use of keywords, references, and synopses in QuickRef windows. The standard shortcuts to bring these up in the Binder’s inspector also work here, but here it would be wonderful to have a keyboard shortcut for “none” to make the QuickRef inspector split screen go away. That way one can toggle in, type what needs to be typed, and toggle back out, without having to reach for the trackpad and choose None from the dropdown menu.
The View > Layout > No Split Cmd-’ shortcut works to close the inspector in QuickReference windows. (The other split shortcuts work as well, to change the placement of the meta-data.)
