Keeping the Scrivener database within a DevonThink DB

I accidentally imported a Scrivener project into DevonThink’s file structure, and to my surprise, I could actually read (though not edit - I don’t want to do that) the contents in DevonThink (see screenshots for what I mean, and location of the imported project file.)

Is this a safe place to “keep” the project file - any pitfalls? I love the idea of being able to read my work in DT, since I use that as my primary research system….

I think you should be fine keeping the project file there, yes, although I’d use File > Backup To fairly frequently to begin with until you’re confident it works fine. I believe DT just imports it into its database and then opens it as a regular file. DT also hooks into QuickLook to show previews of documents, which is why you can read the synopses of Scrivener documents inside DT.

All the best,
Keith
