Keyboard Shortcuts for Note Styles


didn’t read through the whole board so i don’t know if this has been asked before, but:

I’d love to have some Keyboard Shortcuts to quickly apply (custom) Note Styles

Imagine Scapple as a visualisation tool for consulting purposes (moderation method). It would greatly enhance the ease of use to be able to quickly create several different note styles. Currently, the quickest method would be to use the context menu, which isn’t very straightforward.

So, please, please, consider including this function in the next update.


Most Mac programs can have shortcuts for their menu commands customised. The note style system was specifically designed to work well with this capacity. These instructions are aimed toward Scrivener users, but since this is an OS X thing, they are applicable to any other standard Mac software, including Scapple:
