Keyword HUD doesn't process Delete Key[NOTED]

  1. In the Binder select a document
  2. Open the Keyword HUD
  3. Select an item in the Keyword HUD
  4. Press the Delete key
  5. Notice the keyword is still there
  6. In the Binder, go to your Trash and move the Document back where it belongs.

Since the Keyword HUD has focus, it doesn’t make sense for the Delete key to be processed by the Binder. It violates user expectations.

This is not a modal Window, hence why the delete is activated by the delete button in the keyword hud and not the delete key. I’m not sure I’d want to change this?

Okay… I see this problem is ancient. :slight_smile: I don’t know, what a modal window is, I only know what I want to do and I know that it doesn’t do what I expect it to do. Nice to see that this has been noted. Hope it will be dealt with eventually.
